How do the free questions work?

Every new paid member gets 3 free tutor questions to try Miss Debra. Once those are used, every member still gets one free question each day, which resets at midnight Sydney time. Free questions are only used when Miss Debra successfully answers. For more questions in a day, buy a credit pack.

What can I ask Miss Debra?

You can ask about English — sentences, punctuation, parts of speech, spelling rules, reading strategies, planning a story, understanding a poem, or how to improve your writing. She explains things in a friendly, age-appropriate way.

No. Miss Debra is a tutor, not an answer key. She will teach you the idea behind the question so you can work it out yourself. That way the points, badges and leaderboard stay fair.

How do I buy credits?

Tap the Miss Debra robot on your dashboard, choose a credit pack, and check with a grown-up. The payment is made through Stripe, so the cardholder has to enter and approve the payment. A receipt is emailed to them.
